This year the ‘Fair Trade World Market’ kicks off on Black Friday, November 26 in our Stepping Stones Cafe!! While everyone else is stuck in traffic, sleep in and then meet up with your friends in a cafe! Relax, drink some Fair Trade coffee, eat a pastry (or two) AND get your holiday shopping done.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Annual Golf Outing
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester will be hosting its 18th Annual Golf Outing!
When: Monday, September 20, 2010
Where: Stonebridge Country Club in Goffstown
BBBS is looking for return and new players to participate in this year’s golf outing. Last year, BBBS had 70+ players from the Greater Manchester community and are hoping to expand that number to 100 players. If you would like to help BBBS reach their goal, details are below:
- Foursomes can play for $500
- Not a golfer? Consider sponsoring a hole for $200 or two holes for $300, or donating an item to be used at our outing as a raffle or auction prize

Walk for Life!

Join the Annual Walk for Life fundraiser held in Veteran’s Park in Manchester! Help raise funds to help support the CareNet Pregnancy Centers and to be an outward “voice” and symbol, upholding the sanctity of human life.
When: Saturday, May 8th. Registration begins at 9:30am, walk starts at 10:15am.
What: Be a “walker” - get pledges from family and friends and walk; help with set-up and tear down and other activities the day of the walk
Where: Veteran’s Park in Manchester
Time commitment: 2-3 hours - depending on volunteer position

Give Blood: Wednesday, Feb 17th @ 1 - 6 PM

What: American Red Cross Blood Drive
Where: MCC, 1308 Wellington Rd, Manchester, NH 03104
When: Wednesday, February 17th from 1 PM to 6 PM
Every minute of every day, someone needs blood. That blood can only come from a volunteer donor, a person like you who makes the choice to donate. To sign-up to be a donor, visit redcrossblood.org and enter code 4855 or call 1-800-GiveLife
All presenting donors will receive a coupon from Pats Peak for a buy 1 get 1 free lift ticket. This incentive is non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.

Counting the Homeless in Manchester, Jan 27th @ 5 AM
If you’re interested in helping out for the Point-In-Time (PIT) Homeless Count this Wednesday from 5 - 10 AM, contact Sonciary at shonnoll@manchesterchristian.com.
Starting at 5:00 AM, we will be meeting at Family in Transitions on 122 Market St. and having a short breakfast and answering any questions. We’ll then go to designated areas throughout the city and perform the count until around 10:00 AM.
