We’re here! The Land of a thousand hills has fully enchanted all of us. We arrived into Kigali at about 1:20pm Local time (6:20am EST.) Our flights we great and we really only had a delay from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia to Kigali, Rwanda.
Today we met up with Pastor Theo and his friend Peter and his wife Louise. Peter will be acting as our translator as we move about the country. Theo took us around Kigali to pick up food and water for our time at Gasarabwayi and then we ended up at the Bourbon Café for a great dinner.
As we close out this day I realize how overwhelming being totally immersed in a culture can be. We are ready for a much needed night sleep and a new day tomorrow.
